Day 14: Concord & 9th Warm Wishes & A Begonia

Lori: This is one of my favorite stamp sets in a long time! Concord & 9th Warm Wishes ladies are the cutest, and a lot of fun to color! (I need to get better photos of this to show off the true colors.) The base is Gina K Designs Lovely Lavender, and the mat is MFT Cool as a Cucumber (discontinued color) cut with the Sunny Studios Frilly Frame Polka-Dot (just the outer die). The next layer is more GKD Lovely Lavender with tone-on-tone stamped Ink Blot Shop Cable Knit background stamp. The ‘hello’ is from the Honey Bee Stamps ‘Welcome Home’ die set in the colors listed above. The banner is from the amazing Sunny Studios Fishtail Banners die set. I love how versatile that set is for making banners in various styles and sizes! The Warm Wishes set has coordinating dies, but I prefer to stamp out the whole lady & scarf, then cut with the Brother ScanNCut. Once again, I neglected to write down the Copic marker colors I used!

Devyn: I’m a huge fan of shimmery and sparkly things! I was trying to make this card cheery, yet comforting. The base is Gina K Designs 120# Base Weight Ivory cardstock, the silver frame is Tim Holtz Kraft-Stock Metallic cardstock cut out with Lawn Fawn Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window die. The sentiment is from Altenew Wispy Begonia stamped with Gina K Design Jet Black Amalgam Ink. I cut My Favorite Things STAX Stitched Mini Scallop Square from Gina K Designs Innocent Pink cardstock. I heat embossed the Begonia with Nuvo Classic Silver Fine Detail Embossing Powder and cut it out with the coordinating dies.
