Day 15: WPlus9 Beautiful Bouquet – Dahlia

Lori: I think I was wishing for spring when I made this! That, and practicing coloring paler colors. I have only ever made a handful of square cards, and this one was small enough for me to need to make an envelope to match. Anyway, I started with a base from MFT Pink Lemonade cardstock (a discontinued color), and used the Reverse Confetti Stitched Squares die with MFT Lemon Chiffon cardstock. I stamped the WPlus9 Beautiful Boquet Dahlia and sentiment on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# in Gina K Designs Amalgam ink, then colored with copics. That’s about all! It took about 30 minutes in all, mostly coloring and making the envelope!

Devyn: I love this card and I’ll be making more of these in the future! It’s very simple yet elegant. I started this card with a My Favorite Things After Midnight Base. For the stitched layer, I started with Gina K Designs Layering Ivory cardstock, I die cut it with Reverse Confetti Stitched Square and heat embossed the Dahlia and the sentiment ‘Wishing you both a Happy Anniversary’ with Lawn Fawn Rose Gold Embossing Powder. Very Simple!
