Day 17: Concord & 9th Everyday Bouquet

This is the first Concord & 9th card kit, and the first to include an alignment aid. The alignment aids and Turnabout Jigs are a life changer when used in conjuction with a MISTI stamping platform! We both struggled with aligning turnabouts in the past, but now they’re so fast and easy!

Lori: I decided to try this in a semi-monochrome color scheme, with shades of teal and gray. I’m happy with the way it turned out. This set is another super-versatile combination of stamps and dies. The base is MFT Gravel Gray with a mat that shows along the sides in MFT Tropical Teal. Some of the die cuts and the “Thanks” banner are also from MFT Tropical Teal. The big flower is MFT Blu Raspberry, and the sentiment banner is hand cut from GMD Slate cardstock. I white heat embossed the sentiment with Versamark and Nuvo Fine Detail white embossing powder. The main layer is on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80#, and I stamped the turnabout with Gina K Designs Lagoon and Sea Glass, and Altenew Silver Lake and Gray Denim inks. I love the subtle dotted lines impression of the leaf die in the white cardstock.

Devyn: This is a brand new kit from Concord & 9th and a great set for all different occasions. I started with a Gina K Designs Turquoise Sea cardstock base. Next, I made a Gina K Designs Peach Bellini layer. For the turnabout, I stamped on Gina K Designs Layering Ivory and the inks are Peach Bellini, Turquoise Sea, Bubblegum Pink, and Wild Dandelion. For the square, I used the coordinating dies with Turquoise Sea and Peach Bellini. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam Ink.
