Day 24: Altenew Wild Ferns

Lori: I think at Altenew Wild Ferns has to be my favorite layering stamp so far! It’s crazy easy to layer, and they look so dimensional! I wanted to keep this simple, so I just used a Gina K Designs Dark Sage base, added a GKD Slate mat, and stamped on GKS Layering Ivory cardstock. I used Altenew inks for the leaves – Evergreen, Forest Glade, and Frayed Leaf and Moss, Olive and Parrot. I used Altenew Jet Black for the sentiment.

Devyn: As I have probably said before, I really like Altenew layering stamps. I started out with a Gina K Designs Sweet Mango cardstock base. I stamped Wild Ferns on Gina K Design Kraft cardstock and used Altenew Dye inks Firefly, Grassfield, Shadow Creek, Sweet Leaf, and Hunter Green. I adhered the Kraft layer with the ferns but I thought it needed something else so I used Scotch Expressions Black & White Stripe washi tape down each side and I thought that added a fun touch to it. I had previously layered the Altenew Peruvian Lily using Altenew Dye inks Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze, Maple Yellow, Honey Drizzle, Mocha, and Pure Graphite. I used Onyx Black Versafine to stamp the sentiment ‘Just A Note’ from Concord & 9th Hello Lovely.
