I started by using Tim Holtz 3-D Texture Lumber Embossing Folder on Gina K Designs Dark Chocolate. Next, I die cut My Favorite Things Porthole out of Tim Holtz Kraft-Stock Metallic Gold. I did a little distress oxide blend behind the eel with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass and cut it out with Avery Elle Burst die. I colored the Eel with Copic Markers, using V12 and V15. Design Blue Lagoon with Gina K Designs Almagam ink and die cut it with My Favorite Things Stitched Sentiment Stripes. I adhered it all to a Gina K Designs Blue Lagoon cardstock base.
Lori: I just can’t stop using the Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime set. Paired with Memory Box Underwater dies, they make such fun scenes! I just had to do a lime green sub to match the theme! I used some of Gina K Designs latest colors for cardstock. The base, of course, is Key Lime. The ocean layer is Sea Glass, and the top layer, cut with Memory Box Underwater Collage, is my favorite cardstock color at the moment – Tranquil Teal. I made the base from MFT Blueberry cardstock. The mat is in My Favorite Things Brown Paper Bag (A retired cardstock that I will really miss when our stash is gone!) and embossed that with Tim Holtz Sizzix Lumber 3D Texture Fades embossing folder. Had I felt better, I would have inked over it to make it look more detailed, but I’m still feeling crummy! Next, I cut an oval for the middle from Gina Marie Designs Double Stitched Inside & Out Ovals, and another the next size up in Gina K Designs Christmas Pine cardstock. I also cut the sentiment banner in the Christmas Pine cardstock with Concord & 9th Holly Jolly banner. I made a feature circle from Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables in Gina K Designs Bubblegum Pink, then the center with My Favorite Things Blue Breeze and Cement Gray using Lawn Fawn Small Dotted Circle Stackables.I popped the circle, bakery and table up with foam tape. I made a mat with Gina K Designs Layering Ivory cardstock, and My Favorite Things Tickled Pink for the base.
Devyn: This card was really easy to plan out! I thought that would be a great encouragement card. I saw ‘Just Scootin By’ and saw the look on that dog and had to do this as an ‘I’m sorry card’. First, I started off with Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# layer and stamped the buildings from Sunny Studios City Streets in Altenew Morning Frost so that it’s not predominant. I die cut Sunny Studio Fall Flicks Filmstrip with Gina K Designs Black Onyx. I used a mixture of sentiments from the feature set Sunny Studios City Streets like ‘Scootin by to say’ and ‘hi’ and the ‘Sorry that crap happened’ is from Honey Bee Blah Blah Blah. I used Copic Markers to color the dog, hydrate, and the bush. The dog is E35, Fire Hydrate R24, and the bush is G24 and YR2. I finished off with a My Favorite Things Chocolate Brown base.
Devyn: I love these seagulls, they’re just so darling! This card took quite a bit of planning, but once I was happy with the prototype, then it was super easy to put together. First, I die cut the Hero Arts Wave & Sea confetti cover die and then used tumbled glass and salty ocean distress oxides to blend an ocean type of texture. I used Nuvo Shimmering Pearl Embossing Powder to make the water shimmery. I used Copic Markers to color the seagulls and log. The log is a blend of E35 and E37. The seagulls are C0, the legs and beak are YR16, and the scarf is R24. I used scrap Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# to die cut the clouds with My Favorite Things Stitched Cloud Edges Die. I finished it off by adhering it to a Gina K Designs Sandy Beach cardstock base.
