Friday April 26 – Day 116 – Joanna Sheen Poppy

Lori: This is one of the beautiful floral dies we purchased from a British craft store online. I love the details on these. I started with a base from My Favorite Things Poppy Cardstock. I stamped that with a background stamp from The Ton called Delicate Grid and I used Altenew Crimson crisp dye ink. I made the frame and oval frame from MFT Black Licorice cardstock using Sunny Studios Fancy Frames Rectangle and Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Ovals Stackables. I cut the white circle from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# with Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Ovals Stackables. The Joanna Sheen Poppy die was cut from random scraps. The sentiment is from Gina K Designs You Get Me stamp set, heat embossed with Nuvo Silver Moonlight glitter embossing powder.

Devyn: I really like this poppy, it’s a good size so you can fit a sentiment next to it easily. I started with a Gina K Lemon Drop cardstock base and stamped My Favorite Things Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots in Gina K Designs Applemint dye ink. I die cut the poppy using scraps from my basket. To finish off, I die cut the ‘Get Well Soon’ from Pretty Pink Posh Get Well Soon in Kraft. That easy!
