Devyn: These flamingos are totally cute! I love how they form a heart shape with their necks which really represents an anniversary. I started with a Gina K Designs Turquoise Sea and stamped it with My Favorite Things Watercolor Background. I stamped the flamingos and did extremely basic Copic coloring I used R11 for their beaks and R22 for their bodies. I die cut the flamingos with Reverse Confetti Circles and Scallops, I cut the Scallop out of Gina K Designs Bubblegum Pink. I stamped ‘Happy Anniversary’ from The Stamps of Life Happy Anniversary set on Bubblegum Pink and die cut it on My Favorite Things Stitched Sentiment Strips.
Lori: While I do often try to aim for more neutral styles when it comes to anniversary cards, I don’t hesitate to go for the cuteness factor! These flamingos are perfect for an anniversary! I used Gina K Designs Tranquil Teal for the base and used partial die cutting to add the Reverse Confetti Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel to the front without cutting through at the top. I then used Gina K Designs Key Lime cardstock for the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Circles frame, and the Reverse Confetti Circles & Scallops for the stamped layer on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80#. I stamped the flamingoes with Gina K Designs Jet Black Amalgam ink and colored with Copic markers R33, R35, RV23, RV29, W0 & W2. I used Hero Arts Everyday Sayings for the sentiment and stamped with Versafine Onyx Black on Key Lime and cut the sentiment strip with My Favorite Things Stitched Sentiments Strips.
