Lori: We realized that we were really lacking in both anniversary cards and the stamps and dies we needed to make them! So, we obtained a few, and got to work! It also happens to be my & John’s 18th anniversary next week, so I’ll be posting the card I make for him on the 25th! I started with a base made from Neenah Environments Desert Storm 100# cardstock and made the mat layer with Gina K Designs Warm Cocoa. I also cut the Lawn Fawn Happy Anniversary border die and the Pretty Pink Posh Twine & bow with the same Warm Cocoa cardstock. I used the We R Memory Keepers Wave embossing folder on Neenah Metallic Champagne Pearl cardstock and adhered it all together with Kokuyo Dotliner and Nuvo Deluxe adhesive.
Devyn: I really like this set of the twine and bows. This is great for finishing touches or just simply as pictured a sentiment and the twine and bow together. First, I used a My Favorite Things Summer Splash for a cardstock base. Next, I used the Echo Park Buffalo Plaid Embossing Folder in My Favorite Things Chocolate Brown. I brought the Summer Splash back and used it to die cut Lawn Fawn Happy Anniversary, again I lost the dot on the ‘i’ so I used Calming Aqua Nuvo Drop for the ‘i’. For the Twine and Bow, I die cut them out with Neenah Metallics White Gold.
