Wednesday April 17 – Day 107 – Marianne Designs Lavender #CS0967

Devyn: This lavender bunch is super cute, and it’s super easy to color, this is perfect for a ton of different occasions but I thought it was nice as an encouragement card. I started with a Gina K Designs Chocolate Truffle cardstock base. Next, I die cut Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop on Gina K Designs Sweet Corn over that I die cut the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables in the same Chocolate Truffle as the base. I used V12 to color the lavender and the bow Y18. For the sentiment, I die cut the Lawn Fawn Thinking of you border die with GKD Black Onyx and I was placing the dots of the ‘i’ and one flung and I can’t find it so I used Ebony Black Nuvo Drops to dot the ‘i’.

Lori:  This is such a cute little stamp from a company in the Netherlands. We find great deals on gems like this on two sites overseas – and With CraftStash, in the US you can get free shipping with $70 or more, and Budly’s shipping costs are VERY reasonable! Shipping has been super fast, and the orders usually go out immediately. We received orders from both faster than some domestic companies! Anyway, I used several products with this. I colored with Copic markers and cut the frame with Avery Elle Quilted Frame from My Favorite Things Periwinkle cardstock. I used the largest die from MFT A2 stitched rectangle STAX Set 1 with Gina K Designs Jelly Bean Green cardstock for the mat. The base is Gina K Designs Wild Lilac. I used a scrap of Wild Lilac for the sentiment strip and heat embossed the sentiment with Nuvo Fine Detail Glacier White embossing powder, then cut with Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border along the long sides, then Sunny Studios Fishtail banners on the shorter ends. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Anything But Basic Encouragement
