Day 46 Card A Day 2019 MFT Warm & Fuzzy Friends

Lori: We’ve had this set for a while, but this is my first card using it. I love the little fox roasting a marshmallow! I stamped him, some trees, and the fire on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White #80 with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink and colored with these Copic markers: W0 & W2 for the whitish parts of the fox & the marshmallow, E07 & E09 for the fox, N8 for his nose, R05,  YR16, Y18 for the fire, and E35, E37, G28 & G29 for the trees. I made the base from MFT Blueberry cardstock. The mat is in My Favorite Things Brown Paper Bag (A retired cardstock that I will really miss when our stash is gone!) and embossed that with Tim Holtz Sizzix Lumber 3D Texture Fades embossing folder. Had I felt better, I would have inked over it to make it look more detailed, but I’m still feeling crummy! Next, I cut an oval for the middle from Gina Marie Designs Double Stitched Inside & Out Ovals, and another the next size up in Gina K Designs Christmas Pine cardstock. I also cut the sentiment banner in the Christmas Pine cardstock with Concord & 9th Holly Jolly banner. I stamped the sentiment on the banner with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Nuvo Fine Detail Classic Gold.

Devyn: This set is so adorable, the moose is my favorite! I’m a huge fan of plaid and I thought they would look great together! I started with a My Favorite Things Timber Green cardstock base. I stamped Concord & 9th Plaid Background with Gina K Designs Cherry Red dye ink and I heat embossed the stripes with Nuvo Classic Gold Fine Detail Embossing Powder. For the outside circle, I used Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables with My Favorite Things Timber Green cardstock. The inner circle I used Lawn Fawn Small Dotted Circle Stackables with Gina K Design Cherry Red cardstock. I colored the Moose with Copic Markers. The nose is E13 and E15, the body is E25, E27, and E29 and the antlers E50 and E53. I finished off by heat embossing the ‘Moose You’ with Nuvo Classic Gold Fine Detail embossing powder on My Favorite Things Timber green and I die cut it out with My Favorite Things Stitched Sentiment Strips.
